We love “Guess how much I love you” as well as any of the “If you give a mouse a cookie” books in the series. When my son was younger, I had to read the 10 little monkeys book all of the time (pop up book where you literally take the monkeys off the tree as you read each page)

My favorite bedtime story is a story my dad used to tell me when I was little. He just made it up and it was about a little mouse called Jaimy. One day that little mouse was going to school, the other day he was playing with his friends! Everday there was a different story about Jaimy the mouse. I really loved it!!!

My favorite is Guess How Much I Love You. The first time I heard it, I was standing in the doorway to my infant son’s room while he lay in his dad’s arms. When he read the last line, I couldn’t stop the tears.

Our favorite book is “On the Night You Were Born” by Nancy Tillman. We actually like the recordable one by Hallmark. My husband is a firefighter. He works 24 hrs then is off two days but maintains 50 yards for extra income. He is also in paramedic school M,W,F 8-5 so he is gone a lot!!!. He was able to record his voice thus reading the story to the girls every night when he is not home. They love this special time with their daddy.
