I forgot to properly secure the cap on a bottle of expressed breast milk during a 3AM feeding and it spilled all over us!

i once put my purse on the top of the car while putting the carseat in & then drove off. a neighbor saw it & started yelling to alert me, and i pulled over to give him a piece of my mind for “being such a jerk & yelling at me for no reason” — until i realized he was actually being NICE!

I found myself swaying back and forth anytime I was standing up (As though I was swaying to soothe the baby) once I went back to work. People would stare at me with a funny look on their face and only then would I realize I was doing it! Honestly, it happened about 6 times in one day!

I made pasta and sauce with a huge dollop of mayo the other day rather than sourcream… 22weeks pregnant with an 18 month old is frying my brain 🙂

I put food into the cabinet with the dishes one time. Thankfully, it was already in a container! I also took the clean dishes from the dishwasher and tried to put them into the refrigerator one night!

I would say the weirdest thing I have done while sleep deprived was cry on my dogs lap, while telling her how much I missed her.

One morning I was pouring cereal for my son. He was looking all over the house for his hamster food, and said we must be out. I said put it on the list for shopping tomorrow. Well as he walked in on my pouring his cereal he noticed that I had the HAMSTERS food and was pouring his bowl with that and not his lucky charms! I knew I should of stayed in bed.

The craziest thing I ever did while sleep deprived was put my chihuahua in the baby’s bouncer because he was barking. They both looked at me like I was crazy.

I have put the milk in the cereal cabinet way too many times. This morning I poured my coffee creamer in my sons bowl of strawberries! Haha!

I thought my son spilled yogurt on his hand and I dabbed my finger in it to show him it’s okay to lick it off…. He started giggling when I spit it out…. It was hand lotion that he successfully opened. If I had looked a little closer, I would have realized that was some thick yogurt! Haha.

The craziest thing I’ve done due to being sleep deprived is change my son & forget to put a diaper back on! I found out by the warm spot on my shirt… (:

I was sitting on the couch holding baby in one arm and my coffee in the other. I woke up to an empty coffee cup and my 3 year old looking at me like “you idiot”! I had slowly dumped my coffee all over the couch right on our universal remote….it needed to be replaced!

I once drove on quite a busy road and I saw a cow standing in a pasture and I remember thinking to myself: “that’s a funny looking zebra”. Hahaha, I was laughing out loud at myself in the car!!

On more than 1 occasion I have put my shirt on inside out or put on two black or brown shoes- not matching, just same colored and didn’t realize it until I was already out the door.

After I had my daughter I was so sleep deprived I picked her up and began sleep walking. In my dream I was walking out the bedroom door to go in the living room… Instead I woke up by walking straight into a wall

I got up in the middle of the nite to get some cold ice cream to quench my thirst. I took it out of the freezer, walked into the bathroom, left it on the sink and went back to bed. What a gooey, dripping mess I found the next morning and then had to figure out what happened. I’ve done all the options.
