Made it 20 miles (out of 30) on the way home, then remembered I had left my two-year old at my mother-in-law’s for the day because he was sick and couldn’t go to daycare. Called her to say I had worked late, but was on the way….

I have both tried starting my coffeemaker without water, and without coffee grounds. I’ve locked my keys in the car. Forgotten which kid I’m taking to school. I’ve even fallen asleep while singing lullabies to the kidsc

I can’t think of anything super crazy right now, but I have turned on the wrong burner on the stove a few different times. So annoying!

My mother was holding my 5 month old daughter and my daughter had some spit around her mouth, but instead of wiping my daughter’s mouth I wiped my mother’s. 😀

I just sat on the kitchen floor to wait for the microwave to defrost dinner and went immediately to sleep – frightened my nearly 2 year old.

So sleep deprived that I changed my daughter’s diaper and then did it again 5 minutes later because I forgot I had already done it!

I put baby formula in the coffee machine. I left wet clothes in the washing machine overnight. Go looking for my sunglasses, keys, cell phone and they are often in my hands the whole time.

My husband gave me cash so I could run to the store, and I kept telling him he hadn’t given it to me. He insisted he did and after a few minutes of back and forth about it, I stuck my hand in my pocket and there was the money! I had zero recollection of him giving it to me.

It’s a toss up between pouring water into baby’s bottles with no liner in them (no bottom in these bottles so water just pours out), forgetting the dog outside (or freaking thinking I left her out when she’s sleeping on the couch lol), or losing $60 and having no idea what happened to it…..

We’ve been pretty lucky sleep wise…but I’ve definitely walked out of the house a handful of times with my shirt only half buttoned! Yikes!

We’re just 4 weeks into sleep deprivation so luckily no crazy stories to report, other than the occasional tear fest or forgetting words for things. Happy to share this giveaway on Facebook and Twitter because I’m loving my Gentle Giraffe.

I found my keys in the butter compartment of the fridge during the newborn phase with my first. I hadn’t driven in days and wasn’t even looking for them – a bit of a shock to see them there! We have #2 coming about 5wks and I cringe to think of what I’ll do with a toddler & newborn!

I washed my cell phone because after tucking my little one in at night I carried a load of laundry up the stairs to wash and decided I would wash the jeans I was wearing at the time too– forgetting to remove my phone from the pocket!

Started to put my 3-month-old’s (at the time) onesie outfit on my 3-year-old! At least the infant outfits usually have great wiggle room for getting over any size infant head. So I made it over my kid’s head then looked at her, noticed what I had done & reassured her that I wouldn’t put the outfit on the rest of the way because it would be impossible! We both had a good laugh about it 🙂

Craziest thing I’ve done was rolling over putting my legs and arms around my husband and just hold him tight and sleeping through it.
